Fate of the Sword: Day Two « Thread Started on Dec 21, 2008, 8:41pm »
Haru grumbled slightly as she sat up, and winced as her arms complained about their misuse. She looked at her arms and frowned slightly, remembering the events of the noght before. It had almost seemed like a dream, it was so out of the ordinary. "Beowulf?" Her voice was still affected by her exhaustion, but she was more able to think. She looked down at herself and wrinkled her nose at the dirty clothes she had fallen asleep in. (Don't remember how to change the font and I can't do what I normally do. but I got it done!)(Fixed it.)

Suddenly fading into the area is Beowulf his face hidden by the cowl of his shirt ,likely on purpose, but even so he doesn't look to good. His wound has wasted away more over the night if not much but very little blood still comes from the wound....that and the fact that he has not died proves his supernatural origin. "Yes?" His voice seems strained despite a obvious attempt to make it not sound that way.

Haru blinked up at Beowulf as he appeared. Her mind was working much better than it had the night before. She smirked slightly at him as she stood, resting her left hand on the wall. "I just wanted to see how much worse your wound got." Remembering about what she had promised both of them what she would do in the morning, she curved her fingers into the hidden groove that marked the edge of the door to her workshop. It slid open with a click, and Miharu stepped in, unwinding the loose bandages on her arms to let the burns 'breathe', which would help them heal a bit faster. She winced a bit as they stuck a bit, but brushed it off as well as she could.

"Urgh.....of course." He rolls his eyes at her and follows her down the steps. As she pulls them off he smirks slightly. "Glad to see your still in pain as well." He leans on his opposite shoulder on the wall to keep his wound from being touched by anything.

Miharu frowned at Beowulf as he reminded her of the pain in her arms, even as she shoved that sensation to the back of her head. She bit back a scathing reply, knowing that he was just trying to bug her. She walked over the square of dirt that still had Naegling set on it to her worktable, and started to pick through the stones scattered over its surface. Some of them gave off more power than others, but she wasn't looking for one of her 'reserves' just yet. her fingers brushed over one particular stone, and she paused, her eyes showing a bit of sadness. "Might be a bit risky, considering its reverse, but...It would work, and work the best." She picked up the stone with a couple of her fingers, and flicked the stone up to her other hand, drifting her fingers over her reserve runes. She picked one out, and turned to look at her Servant, re-assessing his injury. (There. You ought to have more to respond to now.

He kneels down at his sword and scoots the pieces together to make it seem like a whole sword again when he hears her. "Risky? How?" He stands up again and when she goes looks at his wound he turns it towards her. It looked pretty bad now as it had decayed around the wound further aggravating it and widening the injury.

Haru held up the first stone she had chosen, showing him the symbol etched into it. It looked like an arrow that had been pointed up and cut in half, so there was only one barb, headed to the right. "Laguz. It's able to heal, and its affiliation is water, but the negatives connected to its reversed state are quite strong. It's sometimes hard to make sure that only one side of a rune is activated." She sighed a bit and started for the door, waiting until he had left before closing the door to her workshop. "I'll heal you outside. It'll be easier on me, since the pond's out there."
