He looks over at her. "Oh? Why do you say that?" He is watching her with intrest waiting for the answer of that question for one or both of her comments.

Taiyo grinned and linked her fingers behind her head. "'Taiyo' means 'sea'. And since that's all that I can remember, Yuff and Leon decided that that would be my name, since I can't remember my birth name."

"Ah. I'm named after a rose that grows on Gail Wind. And I suppose my old planet as well. I always did feel more at home in nature then a city like this. As though that was hard to tell from my appearance." He grins looking to her.

Taiyo blinked as Majere told her he was named after a plant. She felt a slight smirk slip onto her face, and she tried to control the chuckle that she felt bubbling up. "Heh. With the hair color? Never would've guessed," she said, the smirk turning into a cheeky grin. Not gonna make a comment about being named after a flower, no!

Taiyo blinked as Majere asked to be shown to a guest room, and nodded, standing up and stretching her arms over her head. "It's down this hall here." Considering how traditional her entryhall looked, it was surprising how simple and un-traditional the rest of the house was. Few of the pieces of art on the wall had more than a pane of glass secured by small metal clips. The walls were painted decently bold colors, though they didn't seem it compared to one of the rooms that they passed. That room looked as if it were a bedroom, but Taiyo walked right past it a couple of doors before opening one. "Here we go. Yuffie used to use it when she needed to hide from Leon for bugging him a bit too much, so it isn't as weird as my room. I think I left that door open when I left this morning." She laughed a bit as she looked back at the open door. With various shades of blue and green, it was a wonder that anyone was able to fall asleep in that room. Though, considering who it was that used it... "Anyway, there's a door to the bathroom. It's the one that doesn't lead to the closet." Taiyo grinned as she stepped back to let Majere enter the room. The colors were much more muted than they were in the rest of the house, apparently to let guests sleep easier. "I'll see you in the morning, then." Taiyo waved to Majere before heading back to the front hallway and darting through it quickly. She reached the wooden plank that she'd hit to turn off the alarm, and moved it to access the keypad underneath it. A short string of numbers were punched in, and she moved the wood back into place before jumping over the wire to the area where their shoes were. She waited a few seconds, until the glints of metal at the other end of the hallway had stopped moving, before starting through, dodging all of the traps with the ease of much practice. The three tripwires were only the traps for use during the day. This hallway was the only feasible way into her home, so she had designed a difficult set of traps that she'd seen Yuffie only barely get through. The ninja had had a couple of problems with the swords. Taiyo hadn't known that it had been possible, but...Well, she learned something new everyday. Taiyo blinked as she realized with a slight start that she'd gotten through her traps without really thinking about them, and shook her head, smiling, as she closed the door to the hallway and headed to her room, unclipping the dagger holsters on her arms on the way. She fell asleep quickly enough, and dreamt of the stormy ocean. It wasn't the dream that terrified her, as she was firmly on land, but...It was still stormy.
